Artist Spotlight at The Rodeo Sean Burns
Sean Burns is a singer-songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba. His main instruments are his vocals, guitars and a harmonica.
This Canadian musician jumbles Americana, folk, country and blues with inspirations, such as Ray Price, Merle Haggard and Buck Owens.
Burn releases Music for Taverns, Bars, and Honky Tonks this month. His fourth album was recorded in both Alexander, Manitoba and Nashville, Tennessee.
Grant Siemens and Scott Franchuk produced, recorded and mixed Burn’s latest project. The Lost Country feature on the album with Big Dave McLean, Harry Stinson and Chris Scruggs.
Burn’s album release tour starts this April. See him on the 5th at The Capitol in Regina Saskatchewan, on the 6th at the Auditorium Hotel in Nanton, Alberta and on the 7th at Legion in Redcliff, Alberta.
