Now that spring is in the air, (somewhere I’m sure), the summer’s lineup of blues festivals is being announced. Let’s take a quick glimpse at what’s in store for us all.
Orangeville Blues Festival
June 1-3 isn’t far away and this festival features over 90 acts. The line up is simply staggering. Here are just a few of the performers:

Bad Luck Woman & Her Misfortunes, Jake Chisholm, the Can-Am Blues Band featuring James Anthony, Larry Kurtz and the Lawbreakers with special guest singer Lisa Hutchinson, Raoul & the Big Time.

Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar, Jenie Thai, Justin Saladino Rob Lutes and Dan McKinnon
There’s music on three stages and in over 20 clubs and event venues.
Whew – that’s one great weekend of music !
Trois-Rivieres En Blues in Quebec
It’s not till August but the 10th edition of the festival has announced the headliners of George Thorogood & The Destroyers and Buddy Guy.
Now that’s some serious talent.
2018 Lighthouse Blues Festival in Kincardine Ontario
The Festival runs from July 13-15 and also has a giant lineup. Here’s a snapshot of some of the bands playing:
