Paul Brett is rated as one of the best 12 string acoustic guitarists in the world, and you only have to listen to this six track EP to see the reason why, it's quite simply a masterclass.

Paul is the the resident expert for over 11 years on Vintage Acoustic Guitars for UK National Magazine ‘Acoustic’. He is also the Festival Director for the Llyn Acoustic Guitar Festival in North Wales and has his own range of Vintage  signature guitars developed in conjunction with John Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd., (JHS) and distributed around the world. He has a long and illustrious career in music and TV,  he has played or recorded with The Strawbs, The Overlanders, Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Elmer Gantry’s Velvet Opera, The Velvet Opera, Tintern Abbey, Fire, Roy Harper, Al Stewart, Lonnie Donegan, Paul Brett Sage and in his own right as Paul Brett., the list is a long one.

He has developed his own unique style of playing on 12 string acoustic gelling influences from blues, folk, celtic and now showcasing his prowess with classical overtures.  If Paul Brett is not on your guitar playing radar, then he absolutely ought to be, his picking accuracy is jaw dropping, Paul's discography is loaded with amazing work and I'd strongly advise delving deeper into it, links to albums can be found at his website. ' Solo Orchestral 12 String Guitar ' is just one more reason to go and seek out this gifted musician's body of work.

Six stunningly arranged compositions, each one as good as the last, I wish there was more, that's why they invented the repeat button I guess, this EP is thoroughly entertaining, as I've come to expect from Paul.

The album is pure acoustic magic, and as difficult as his playing sounds, he also has a plethora of video's showcasing his playing and demonstrating his wonderful line of guitars encouraging guitarists to explore further for themselves.

If you are in Nashville this weekend he'll be at Booth #1543 at Summer 2019 NAMM, it's well worth a trip to go and see one of the worlds finest in person.
